Modern browsers are well aware of the need of deleting the history, for the sake of security. The Internet Explorer is the most vulnerable browser to all malicious software so it is advisable to down load either chrome or Firefox.



The Internet history is one of the ways to store your search history. It can reveal your search options once you start typing on the Internet search bar. To delete history from Firefox browser history, select Tools menu and then click on the "Clear Recent History" option. If you prefer to delete everything, you can click on the "Site Preferences"



You can also choose a private option. This will place your browser in a private mode and your search history will not be saved. To customize this option, you can click on the tool and select "Start Private Browsing" option.



You can delete recent searches in chrome individually and in a group. If you prefer to delete a single item from your history, you can accesses this task by clicking on the icon on the top right hand side and then click on the history. There is a way to delete everything that you do it in the same icon. For that, you have to click on the icon and select Tools. Next, click on the Clear Browsing Data from the menu to get a dialogue box as follows:

All your search history will be deleted by this.



To delete the history in Safari browser, the options are little limited. You cannot delete the search history; instead, you will get a "Reset Everything" option. But this action is not found preferable.



Safari is also featured with private browsing option; hence, you can use this option if you want the history for the future use. Click on the preference and select "Auto fill" tab and then choose "Edit" and then "OtherForms" check box. Select ""Google.com" and then give "Remove".
