iSight is a webcam with sleek style and great image quality and has a very sensitive microphone. Apple introduced iSight in 2003. This is a webcam intended to use with ichat, video conferencing and imovie.

To take a picture, you should follow some simple steps: Open iChat and then from the buddies menu click on the change pictures. And then click on the "take video snapshot".





Video-conferencing





Apart from video creation this webcam also allows you in video-conferencing. For video- conferencing, you may need some programs that will support you in video-conferencing like AOL instant messenger account, a broadband connection, with DSL modem and a local area network connection. To access video conferencing open iChat and click on the buddy list to enable the video menu. IChat will send an invitation to the viewer and when he accepts the invitation, you will be visible on the video. Apple remote Desktop is also available in this device. This software helps you access the computer while you are miles away from your home.
